One of the great things about working in a global organization is having the opportunity to speak to colleagues around the world about their Life at SAP. My name is Heather Walker and I recently had the opportunity to speak to a group of women from all careers levels in the Nordics about their careers, and what drives them. One of those women was Tanja Strohhammer who, like SAP, is originally from Germany.
“I am originally from Germany and moved to Norway 11 years ago. I moved to Oslo to work on the German market for a Norwegian company and now I work on the Nordic market for a German company!”
So, what does Tanja’s role entail?
“I am the Country Marketing Manager in Norway and have additional responsibility for the Analytics and Insights in the Nordics. Success for me means changing perceptions and building brand awareness for SAP in the Nordics.
At SAP there are no limitations if you are motivated, open minded and innovative. I love the diversity within SAP and that our leaders have an open-door policy which makes for a great working culture. I am also inspired by the number of female leaders, especially as a working mother myself.”
I asked Tanja what her proudest moment has been at SAP?
“For me it was being part of the Innovation Forum 2017 in Norway as this was the most innovative and successful Forum in EMEA North. I still feel so proud when I think about this day”
