SAP considers education to be a key factor for developing innovations, improving the society
and fostering economic growth. It is vital that all people have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and to create their own future. SAP actively promotes the development of peoples’ intellectual capacity, and supports the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) initiative to help children exercise their right to education in Ukraine.
UNICEF believes that education is a basic human right. Every child is entitled to it. Education plays a major role both in individual development and societal progress, and paves the way for a brighter future. Giving children access to equal and high-quality education today is a guarantee of development of future generations.
The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and SAP are joining forces to help children caught in eastern Ukraine conflict. Under the partnership project, displaced children will be able to receive the things they need to continue learning and for early childhood development.
On November 20, volunteers from SAP Ukraine took part in a children’s rights forum together with UNICEF. School children showed off their knowledge of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in a quiz competition. The 150 children who took part in the event had a lot of fun, learned new things and, naturally, received presents.
