From March 17th to 26th, Cargill’s representatives visited SAP Labs LA to participate in a workshop and training on Agricultural Contract Management (ACM) 2.0. The training was focused on the system’s different functions and the integration between ACM and the Commodity Management (CM). Several Cargill units across the globe were represented in the Labs, besides Cargill headquarters from United States, there was also Cargill representatives from Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Netherlands, Malaysia and Singapore participating.
During a tour around SAP Labs LA's building, they visited the Innovation Center and the MCC. They were very amused with all the projects we developed. Dave Bluhm, one of Cargill’s representatives, highlighted the great building structure and layout Labs LA has and said it's very interesting and unique the fact of being located inside a university.
The local team is helping them by providing training, discussing business processes and providing support for the ACM product. Bluhm said the workshop was really successful and exceeded expectations. He also said it is hard for him and his team to travel long distances, but everything was worth it, once they had a great learning experience at the Labs.
Cargill is excited to maintain this collaboration and visit us other times.
