For the fourth year in a row, SAP sponsored the Lesbians Who Tech Summit in San Francisco. This year, we had a huge crowd in attendance to hear from presenters, speak with recruiters, view tech demos, watch live interviews, and take pictures.

Billie Lynn Ross, Production Operations Engineer, SAP Ariba: Billie Lynn Ross, local diversity champion, talks about her experience at her first LWTS. She is amazed at the amount of people involved in this summit, as well as the explosive ideas and contagious excitement. Billie discusses the importance of SAP’s involvement and sponsorship of events like this, as it demonstrates SAP’s ongoing investment in its employees and more importantly–in diversity. Caitie Sullivan, Program Consultant, SAP: Caitie’s role at SAP is recruiting early talent, students, and anyone interested in technical and non-technical roles. She also explains the summer internship program called iXp, and how to become part of Silicon Valley Next Talent during her Periscope interview. During her time as an intern, she felt SAP never treated her like an intern: “I had a seat at every meeting and my voice was heard”.
