Well that was disappointing. Turned up to a busyish Pig N Whistle just after 5:30pm Couldn’t see a group with anyone I recognised, not an SAP logo to be seen on anyone’s clothing. Reckon you need to make it a bit easier to find the group. I bailed around 6:00 after standing around for half a hour.

Hi Doug

Thanks for your feedback and sorry that you did not see the group. You are right - we need to improve our visibility to make it easier to get feedback. The truth for this year, Marissa and I are doing this in a volunteer capacity and life got the better of us - our organisational skills weren't not at the level this time. Sorry that you were on the receiving end. It's also why we found ourselves hosting the first one for the year and we're in May already!

As a heads up, we're looking at a Christmas in July theme to try to get another catch up planned sooner. Aim would be to hold it after school holidays for those with school age children who may be away. So far, we think the location is nice and central (we had a good turn-out - again sorry you didn't see the group!) but next time round we'll promote better as well as get a sign to make it obvious / let staff know that's our group in case anyone asks. A few of us also thought we might include some optional name tags.

We hope you give the group another chance and come to the next event.
