The central location on SAP Support Portal where the Schedules for the Support Package Stacks and SAP BusinessObjects Maintenance Deliveries are published for customers will now be transitioning to SAP for Me over the next couple of months.  Communication of planned release dates for SAP's maintenance deliveries (which include patches, support packages, and support package stacks) will now be available in the ’Calendar’ feature in SAP for Me.

What exactly does this mean? and what will change for you?

Through the central SAP for Me ‘Calendar’ in the 'Maintenance deliveries (patches etc.)' section you will now be informed about upcoming release dates for maintenance deliveries. This provides you with a more personalised customisation for the information on your important event dates in a centralized calendar.

Clicking the event, you will be able to see further detailed information about the planned delivery in a popover i.e. planned delivery dates.  The 'Product Availability Matrix' link will open a new browser tab/window showing details about the product version mentioned in the popover.

You also have the option to add this event to your personal calendar in Outlook by clicking the 'Download ICS' button. (Please be aware that the information contained in this downloaded event is subject to change. Please cross check with SAP for Me to confirm the exact planned release date.)

You can filter by your favourite product(s) to see maintenance events most relevant to you.

More features and functionalities in the 'Maintenance deliveries (patches etc.)' event section will expand over time and we will be keeping you updated along the way - so stay tuned!

Kind regards,

Hi Peter,

Communication of planned release dates can also be found in the Schedules for Support Package Stack on the SAP Support Portal (schedule includes the current quarter plus the next three quarters of the calendar years).

The following SAP Note 3354958 - SAP S/4HANA Cloud, private edition and SAP S/4HANA on-premise - General Information on Support Packages Schedules is now referenced in the schedule and contains the relevant information on the planned release dates for SAP’s S/4HANA Feature Pack Stacks.

In SAP for Me we are working on a solution for a quarterly view that will allow the user to scroll through each quarter to find the product that they are looking for.  We hope that this solution will be available in SAP for Me by the end of 2023.

Until that enhancement and others are made available, we will keep the pdf available.

Thanks and kind regards,

Denise.

Hi Denise,

Sorry but this calendar view in SAP Me is step backwards. Once again, it's typical SAP. You introduce something new that can do less than the previous version and outsource the testing to the customers. Really annoying.
I hope that customer feedback will be taken seriously.

Best regards
Tobias

The calendar it's a nightmare... So to find the release date for a product, I need to filter by text and moving month by month, or going to the "Maintenance Deliveries" tab which only displays a year and in small boxes by quarter, I can't search/filter by a product.

Now I'm trying to search the delivery date for S/4HANA 2025, and it's impossible. I search for every month in 2025.

Why every time SAP change something is worse?

Please, think in the functionality when you build something, not just in "Oh, this could be pretty"
