Outage Communication Subscription on Bundles in SAP for Me

Since the release of the Bundle feature in April 2024, SAP for Me users can group Cloud Services and Systems into meaningful semantics that help to better understand the impact of outages on business and IT processes.

The next step for Bundle creators (currently Super Admins and Cloud Admins) is to be able to subscribe relevant users for outage communication notification email related to a Bundle. Doing so, users are subscribed in one step to all Cloud Service and Systems included in a Bundle.  

How does it work? 

Once you have created a Bundle, move to the Subscribe tab in the Bundle detail page and click Add Subscriptions. 

An input window pops up. 

1. Choose one or several contacts from the list and click OK. You can also use the search functionality.                       
2. Per default all Event Types (Customer Communication, Disruption/Degradation, Maintenance and Major Upgrade) and Notification Types are checked.  It is up to the users to choose among these options to manage their Outage Notification email.  

Subscription list

The subscribed users will be able to see the corresponding Bundles(s) in the Get Notified tab and change or delete the subscription created for them in the Bundle page.

Thanks for the great blog.
I have a question about Outage Communication Subscription on Bundles. Which timing will the emails be sent out as a result of unplanned system outage?
Are they automatically sent out immediately after a system outage, or are they sent out after a human check or something is made after a system outage?
