@David_Chaviano

Hello David and all,

My name is Mariana. and I'm from the VOWER community. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated from Emory University in 2021, and have a degree in Sociology. I am interested in community building, critical race theory, and mental health initiatives. I have worked as a customer service specialist in many roles, including paralegal and home care provider.

I'm looking to break into tech as a data analyst. I enjoy statistics and want to learn more! I look forward to selecting and pursuing a SAP Certification with the SAP digital skills initiative.

I've been advised about the Explore Integrated Business Processes in SAP S/4HANA learning journey. I'm interested but would this certification align with the skills needed for a data analyst?

Please advise what learning journeys would be recommended for an aspiring data analyst.

Hi @Mariana1 ,

Welcome aboard! Great to have Vower folks joining us here!

Check out this blog:  Starting out developing skills in analytics? Not sure where to start?

Be sure to tag Mark with all of the questions you have!

Here is my take:

Step 1: Exploring SAP Analytics Cloud

Step 2: Leveraging SAP Analytics Cloud Functionality for Enterprise Planning

Explore Integrated Business Processes in SAP S/4HANA is good to get the big picture, but you are going to get a LOT of stuff outside of your area of interest. A lighter path toward big picture (if you need it) is Discovering End-to-End Business Processes for the Intelligent Enterprise.

Feel free to skim it quickly before starting your analytics journey.
