Thank you for putting together this demo and "how to" for the Digital Skills Initiative program.  I tried to join the beginners community group but was met with an error "You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action" so unfortunately I was not able to comment in your referenced blog.

I feel that I would be an ideal candidate for this opportunity as I fall under numerous of the guidelines in your applicant guide.  I'm a single parent transitioning to a new career, or at least trying to, who was diagnosed with ADD as an adult back in 2020.  My career opportunities locally are sparce because of the area I live in, a remote opportunity would help counter this.  My background in SAP coming up from the production floor into production planning and supply chain has given me lots of on hand experience but without certifications or a degree my advancement has been limited.  I'm a first generation college student as well, currently trying to go back for an information systems degree to potentially help bolster my chances with an SAP certification.  Shortly after leaving the military I went to work for a company that was eventually bought out by Siemens as a temporary employee and worked my way up the ladder learning a few ERP systems along the way but helping become one of our SAP super users to help train others during our SAP implementation.

I've worked with BAAN, NetSuite, Oracle, Microsoft GP, and SAP and out of all of them prefer SAP and what it has to offer.  Having experience with day to day operations with SAP from the production side, production planning, procurement, and even helping and being a key Super User in ~4 implementations with different companies would make me a standout candidate to become certified and allow me to expand on the knowledge I've already gained on the job so I can learn more about what SAP has to offer and what my potential could be with certifications.

I enjoy seeing how the SAP system can improve processes and the impact technology has on businesses that operate on it.  I've worked at a few facilities who have all incorporated it in different ways and I was able to take key parts from each setup and try to build upon them at the next facility. 

I'm eager to start learning more about SAP commerce, SAP S/4Hana Sourcing and Procurement, and SAP S/4 Hana Production Planning and Manufacturing.  I want to build upon the skills I already have been honing and use them to become a consultant within the SAP community.  I know that business requirements change and technology changes so I want to stay up-to-date with the latest SAP advancements and what they have to offer.  I'm looking forward to this opportunity and exited about the possibilities the future holds.  Thank you for considering my application.

This is Usman here. By profession I am associated with the banking industry and looking forward to expand my skills and knowledge particularly in SAP.
