Hi Everyone,

SAP Certification is a great way to prove your competence and boost your CV as you enter the SAP ecosystem. This is why we are provisioning some free certifications to new talent as they enter the ecosystem via various programs and initiatives being run by SAP and its partners. 

Oftentimes, these free certification attempts are provided via "campaign codes" that allow you to discount the cost of the certification to 0. Here is the guide to follow in order to apply your campaign code. 

Note: If you do not see any "Add to Basket" option for the item your are trying to purchase, you need to select your geographical location first. Select your country by going to the globe icon on the top right on the training.sap.com page.

Depending on your region, browser settings and account information, the redemption may not work as intended. If you encounter any issues with your redemption, try the following:

1. Clear the cache on your browser, then try again.

2. Try a different web browser. 

3. Try logging in and redeeming the code on a mobile device.

4. If you find yourself with the code successfully applied, but at a "dead-end" without a check-out button, your request has more than likely been submitted. Please allow a couple of days for processing and you should then get your confirmation via email. (This is a known UI bug that is currently being worked on.) 

5. If none of these suggestions work, scroll down to the bottom of the screen on training.sap.com, and reach out to your localized (be sure to select your country) support center and request that they manually redeem the campaign code for you:

(Note: Please do not reach out to the support team on learning.sap.com - be sure you are on training.sap.com)

Provide the following information in your correspondence:

- State the problem: "I am unable to redeem this campaign code because of..." (Reason XYZ - please be specific in the error you are encountering and provide screenshots if you can)

- State the request: "I am requesting you manually redeem this code on behalf of my account."

- Share the code you are trying to redeem

- Share the name of the program you are taking part in and whatever contact information you have for the program  (For example: Digital Skills Initiative digitalskills@sap.com )

- Share the steps you have taken to try to solve the issue (Cleared cache, different browser, etc)

From this point, the local support team should be able to find a solution to getting you your free certification attempt. The only reason to revert back to the digital skills support line is if the local support team determines the code is no longer valid or is defective. If this is the case, that support colleague should reach out to the digital skills email address and request a new code on your behalf.

Check my previous comment above in page 1 for the error can't redeem the campaign code. Hope this will help you.

Please help me. I am afraid that I will lose this opportunity after getting the free code. There is a problem with the code. I still don't know 
why.

Important note
I received the mail with the campaign code on February 23, 2024. Since then, I have been sending many emails and communicating with support, but I have not had any luck so far in resolving the problem.

Hello @David_Chaviano  I've successfully applied Code, message was green (as visible on the screen), but then it looks like no discount was applied at the end. 
Is it correct?

@ThomasTQ - It looks like that page is for an activation code - not a campaign code. 

This code should be applied during the checkout process. Please check the guide on how to redeem it: https://training.sap.com/help-center/faq/how-to-use-a-campaign-code-during-an-online-booking

Hallo David, Upon validating the Promo code, Payment of 10 Polish Zloty displayed under  {Sub Total Feld} Second screenshort shows that user is required to upload a payment reciept. Dead end. How do i pay the balance of 10PLN? It does not look like a brower issue. Kindly help. Thanks

I was honored to receive an email from you, but I followed these steps since I received the email containing the free code, but it did not accept activation. This is the problem. I have attached a picture of the problem that appears during activation. Please, Mr. David, help me activate the code so that I can achieve my dream of taking the exam and succeeding.

Hi @Omarnabhan85 - This is not an activation code, but a campaign code. Please refer to the redemption guide in the email where you got the code from.

I successfully redeemed, but it shows it take sometime to process your booking. What I want to do now ?

Hope you're doing well. I created the account with my current company email address earlier but now I'm switching job and my email address will also change. I have received my campaign code but for redemption and booking certification company details are required. My last day in current company will be 24th September and I'll join new company from 16th October 2024. Kindly help me in this regard. I haven't booked certification yet because of this issue.

@EzmaHafeez - please ensure you add your private and new company email address to your universal ID. You should be able to hang on to the certification this way!
