As Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Dr. h.c. Jörg Becker reminded us in his keynote in this event Progress Comes into Life through the Exchange of Ideas by Albert Einstein.
Nowadays we face with a remarkable number of issues to be resolved as the world changes toward a post-COVID-19 future, as well as an important range of opportunities to develop new approaches, expand new industries, and establish new realities.
This first international virtual research
Ideathon took place over the weekend, on December 11-13, 2020. Brought into life by
Dr Victor Taratukhin and organized jointly with
Janus Initiative,
HSE University,
Münster University, European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) and
SAP University Alliances, the event counted with almost
90 participants working in
21 teams from
13 countries, such as Austria, Belarus, Canada, Germany, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Mexico, Peru, Russia, The Netherlands, Tunis, United Kingdom and the USA.
Apart from learning about research methods and improving design thinking skills, participants had also the chance to acquire skills of time and risk management, analytics, leadership, programming, critical thinking and market analysis among others.
Senior year bachelor students and graduates (Masters, Phd) focused in challenges in any of the following areas:
- Learning and interaction in the post-COVID World
- Ecology and climate change in the post-COVID World
- Urban development in the post-COVID World
