The project is a partnership with the SAP University Alliances program, with the support of the Institution
Cienci, SAP Partner, and had its first graduating class in October 2021, followed by new classes in 2022. According to Tassiana Rugoni de Campos, coordinator of
FIAP's MBA courses, the partnership with SAP gives students access to real cases from the corporate world.
"SAP Next-Gen Lab has provided us with the framework we needed to make this challenge of bringing corporate reality closer to MBA students something practical. For the classes that have already used the space it was possible to develop modern solutions to recreate a real market pain, and still think about elements of innovation", he points out.
In this first moment of the project, students of the MBA courses of Software Engineering and Solution Architecture at FIAP received training and a challenge to be developed in
SAP Business Technology Platform. Throughout the project, which lasted 2 months, more than 50 people were involved, including SAP Brazil employees, coordinators, teachers and students.
"It is a great honor to create the SAP Next-Gen Lab space in partnership with FIAP, because teachers and students will be able to use SAP software within the classroom environment, mapping debates and achieving technical and up-to-date qualification for direct performance in the labor market," explains Maria Cecilia Calzada de Neumann, regional manager of SAP University Alliances for Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
