Hi everyone,
It’s great to announce that SAP learning hub, student edition is now live for actively enrolled students and faculty only. It includes:
Students can register here for free
Lecturers can register here for free
If you have no idea what SAP is about and why you should even bother with this, check out this blog I posted on the topic to get a rough idea on what you are starting here.
1: Creating your SAP Universal ID (UID)
Start on the registration page.
A universal ID is what you need to register and track your learning progress. Be sure to use the email address associated with your university enrollment. We recommend adding a second email address to this if you will be trying out for certification. If you already have a UID, you can log in with it and skip this step.
Note 1: Instructions on how to add a second email address can be found at the start of the certification exam scheduling demo.
Note 2: Be sure to never share your UID credentials with anyone.
Note 3: Please be sure to spell your first and last name in latin characters only.
2: Verify yourself as a student (or faculty)
We have a checkpoint in place to ensure you are an actively enrolled student to continue registering. Please verify with the email address that is associated with your university enrollment.
If you have an email address provided to you by your university, use that one. If not, use the email address the university has on record for you.
Note 1: the trick of using your old student email address from 10 years ago doesn’t apply here. 😊 You must be actively enrolled at your educational institution at the time of registration to proceed.
Note 2: To avoid any confusion—don’t mix up the verification email confirmation with the subscription activation link. The activation link might take one business day to show up in your inbox. Once it does, click on it to unlock your certification attempts and access to the hands-on system.
Note 3: For any support with document upload or the verification process in general, please click here.
3: Start Learning
While waiting for your subscription activation email, you can still get a head start with studying. To get oriented, visit the student zone.
4: Activate your subscription
Keep an eye on your inbox for your subscription activation link from “SAP ID Service”. If it doesn’t show up after 3-4 days, be sure to check your spam folder.
Note 1: If you do not receive your activation email after 4 days, go to the bottom of our support page and create a support case.
Note 2: If you encounter the message pictured below after clicking the activation link, just clear your browser cache and try the link again.
5: Continue studying & other tips to get the most out of the platform
If you haven’t started a learning journey yet, you can pick one in the student zone.
To continue studying learning journeys that you have already started, go here.
After you finish a learning journey in the carousel series that you started, you will have to go to the student zone to pick the next one:
6: Get hands-on
Hands on system practice is as important as the certification itself. You must be able to do at least some basic system navigation and activities on the solution you are studying for:
7: Register for live sessions
Take the opportunity to listen to and talk to experts in the field you have chosen. These sessions are either recordings from the past or events that will take place in the future:
Note: Join me in one of my scheduled onboarding live sessions here!
8: Schedule your certification exam
Once you are ready to schedule your exam, select the certification tile at the end of the carousel and get started:
Note: If you have any further questions about SAP Certification, check out the SAP Certification support center.
