Hi!
Friends,
I have 2 questions about workflow in my mind .
1. Is there any strong connection between workflow and abap ( in depth ) programming language?
2. Whats the future of workflow 2 - 3 years down the track from now? I mean to say where the organizations are going as far as workflow and its applications are concern.
Kind Regards
Points will be awarded to everyone.
Troy.

You can call a function module as a workflow task. Once in the function module, you can write as much ABAP as you want. In terms of data available, any parameters / values you want to access and / or modify within the called function module has to be passed in the workflow container.
2. Whats the future of workflow 2 - 3 years down the track from now? I mean to say where the organizations are going as far as workflow and its applications are concern.
No need to worry about the future of workflow. It will be last for long time.
Even there is ABAP OO for worflow available on any SAP NetWeaver platform release 6.20 or above.
