What would be next level after 13 year in SAP ABAP/ABAP on HANA/workflow experince

Hello Expert,

What would be the next career should ABAPER choose after 13 year experience as SAP technical consultant and worked almost all the area like RAP,CDS, ABAP on HANA, SAP ODATA, RICEF, workflow, WDA.

1) Should we move to any functional area like SuccessFactors, HCM, SD, FI, MM,ARIBA or any cloud solution.

2) Should we move our career as manager.

Should we move as technical architect.

if yes then what action certification and learning journey we need to follow.

3) 20 year ABAP experience will be in demand in future and will get the job easily and able to switch the company in INDIA

If yes then what else ABPER need to learn specific in SAP BTP to make us up to date

If you are interested in functional area (anyways in past 13 years you could have came across too many functional areas together) It's good Idea slowing getting into functional area and become a techno-functional consultant. Along with that BTP also will help.

For a technical career, it always makes sense to add a "second language" to your skillset, in addition to ABAP and its surrounding tools. With Java you can't go wrong, or perhaps one of the other languages supported by SAP BTP (like node.js, Python or Go).
