Hi All,
Do any body have brief idea about VERTEX integration(external system to obtain TAX codes) in FI/CO technically and as well functionally.
I want to know in sales order creation how it will be integrated. Any user exit to do this.
And will be used in while creation of Purchase order????

VERTEX is a SAP certified tax calculation package that calculates the taxes at each tax jurisdiction level (federal, state, county, city, etc) based on zip code. This is for calculating US taxes and VERTEX has very sophisticated way of identifying the jurisdiction codes based on zipcodes, geocode etc. It calculates the Use Tax and Sales Tax (relevant for purchasing side as well as sales side).
TAXWARE is the other such product widely used.
