Hi Prasad,

You can use the 'Remote comparison' option of the version management for the object intended for comparison for comparing between two systems.

Soumya.

Hi Soumya,

I know the Version Comparision in the SE38 Editor, where I can get the comparison.

However I want to compare between many programs, function modules and do a mass comparison.

Hope you understand my requirement.

Thanks Prasad

Hi Prasad,

You can also have a look at SREPO transaction (it gives the information what is different, but not what, that then needs to be done using individual comparison).

Thanks

hi prasad,

you can try looking at fm's such as SVRS_GET_VERS_AND_DELTA_REPO, SVRS_GET_VERS_AND_DELTA_DYNP

or try searching in se37 with SVRS_GET_VERS*

Hi,

I am using that transaction only.

Please once check in SE93 in display mode.

Transaction code SREPO

Package SCTS_COMP_SYS

Transaction text Repository Comparison

Program RSSYSCOMP

Screen number 100

Authorization object S_TRANSPRT

Thanks

Hi All,

With the help of table E071 I could get the transport request number and corresponding version for the list of programs and I could resolve the problem by comparing them in an excel sheet.

I have a huge list of 3K programs.

Thanks to all for your valuable suggestions.

Hi,

You can try the below method..

Goto SE38Program name>Utilities->Version management->From the development database select the object and click on Remote Comparison>Select Target Sys>and there you can find it out.

Thanks

Please check the report RSVRSREM for more information. This call some FM's like FIND_OBJECT_40 and GET_VRSD_ENTRY_46 to do the remote comparision between different systems.

Yes, please don't tout your blog by bumping up dozens of old threads. If every author did this, it would result in quite a mess on the landing pages and activity streams. Good quality will be noticed without such tricks.
