Hi All,

I want to change the billing status “A’ to ‘ ‘ (space) in overall status and Delivery item status in VL02N transaction.

When I tried to change the billing status A to ‘ ‘. It got changed but the problem is when I go back and again I check the status. It’s displaying the A.

Please help me on this.

I think it depends on whether any billing documents are created with reference to the specific delivery document you are editing. The status changes depending on the existence of the billing document.

the documnet has already been billed & delivered...So, u might need to revert back the delivery and then can do the status change.

I am not sure how you modified the billing status (BS)...I believe you cannot manually change the status..

But where and how have you changed the status?

It probably the system always tries to set the correct value of the status in according to the real status of the delivery.

The status A means the bill isn't generated yet, so if a bill'll have to be created for the delivery, the system'll insert status A again although you have forced the blank value, because this value is not correct for the delievry.

So you should change std program to prevent it.
