Hello Hitesh

In order to understand the IBIP transaction you can create your own test data. Use the following procedure:

(1) Tabstrip Mode: select Call Transaction and Process Mode = 'N' (dark processing)

(2) Tabstrip File Management:

- Choose Test Data

- Enter a name for your test data (e.g. Z_MEASUREPOINT)

- Click on Create icon

(3) Defining Tcodes and Structures:

- Choose transaction IK01 (Create measurement point)

- Click on Propose structure -> IBIPMEAS

- Save the data

- Click on Detail icon

(4) Detail view:

- Enter test data for creating your measurement point

Go back to the main screen (with the tabstrips) and execute the transaction. If errors occur (during the CALL TRANSACTION) switch to Process Mode = 'A' (display all screens') or = 'E' (display in case of error).

The record structure of the flat file is given by DDIC structure IBIPREC:

TCODE = 'IK01'

RECORDNAME = 'IBIPMEAS'

DATA_AREA = <data structured according to IBIPMEAS>

Uwe

Hi Hitesh,

Please specify your file name into File Managenment Tab Ensure where you have kept.

Then switch to MODE tab and Select BDC Session (Session name is displayed under). Check Error Log

Run The transaction.

If You want to see the log or process session manually go to Edit Folder Button.

Reward if useful!
