Unused Material Master Number

Hi ABAP Masters,

Do you know a way where we can reuse internal number ranges for Material Master?

yeah u can use .U have to find out rel.user exit which takes the internal Number which is given my user

But if the unused range is coming from the material master config. such as mara table matnr is the material number. can we still reuse the range? If can, how can we retrieve this ranges and use it during the creation process.

Please check Enhancement: <b>MGA00002</b>.

Try to see if you can handle by changing the material number via this enhancement.

If I have understood it right then what u are asking is reusing the material master numbers which have been missed out during the material master creation. If this is so then I would not suggest you to do this as it is a risky proposition. It is better to consult ur functional consultant and insist him/her not to do so as it could seriously put u in trouble.
