unable to see a screen of classification view on mm01 transaction.

Hi ,

I am facing a problem on mm01 tcode.

Normally the classification view of mm01 tcode shows the subscreen named 'values for class z_fg_kraft-object 20013456 '

but while doing lsmw recording for the same it is not showing the subscreen 'values for class z_fg_kraft-object 20013456 '.

how to get the screen in recording ??

plese help me !!

Hi Vikas,

Better to go with direct input method to create meterials first.

but you cannot create classification view with direct input method.Once you create materil with direct input method.

create one program using BAPI to create classification view for that particular material.

Hi,

I don't want to create classification view but the problem is with the subscreen which shows the material class

description and values .

Normally it is showing the subscreen of classification view but in recording it is not showing the subscreen named

'class z_fg_kraft characteristic description and values'.

Hi Vikas.

You can use BAPI in LSMW to craete Material or You can use direct input method. Both methods as follows below:

Using BAPI in LSMW:

First maintain IDOC Inbound Processing steps by giving PORT and Partner Type and Partner Numberby clicking 'settings' icon in menu path in LSMW Screen.

Adn then execute LSMW and maintain the values as below in the first step.

BusinessObject Method(BAPI)

Business Object BUS1001006 Standard material

Method SAVEDATA Create and change materia

Message Type MATMAS_BAPI Create and change materia

Basic Type MATMAS_BAPI03 Create and Change Materia.

For the selecting of views, you can maintain fields for all views(From Basic view to costing view) in your excel and populate with 'X' in respective fields for activating views.

In the 6th step (Maintain field mapping and conversion rules). you can map those fields for views which you want to activate since we have all views are in the standard structure.

Using Direct Input Method:

Standard Batch/Direct Input

Object 0020 Material master

Method 0000

Program Name RMDATIND

Program Type D Direct Input

Hi ! I have tried all the methods one thing is clear that problem is not with the LSMW methods instead it is with the subscreen on the classification tab in which the material class characteristics are maintained.

Is there any way to get that subscreen ( a Z type subscreen ) while doing recording on it ???

or any alternate solution for it ??????

I believe you have to consult your Functional consultant...coz for some material types few views are not configured while creation of material.
