Hi All

I have checked everywhere but unable to get the solution hence posting my question.

i have two ztables for which i am creating a TMG  for both tables. for 1 table i am able to create tmg successfully in existing Function group ZSDM and package is ZPACK. but for the other table not able to create as it s giving error though  we are using trasportable requests..NOTE : i am not using local $TMP. So thereis no issues with this. and we are activating everythin including Function grp.

error it is giving is :The maintenance object description has no transportable package (note : i am using transportable package n request )

Please suggest.

Thanks

Cross check your objects in SE54 (Generate Dialog Maintenance) and SOBJ (Maintenance Objects Attributes) - Those should match objects in transport request (R3TR VDAT, R3TR TOBJ, and R3TR FUGR)

Hi,

Please check the following:

1. First the package of the second object is active.

2. If the Function Group is active.

3. Also check if its attached to the correct TR. Also if it is, then maybe you can attach it to the 1st object's TR (for testing) and see if you are getting this error there too.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Please check whether the TR is a local Workbench request or a transportable one .. Same also for the package. Also, is it possible for you to check whether you are able to create a TMG , for the second table, in a new FG.

Hi,

Just cross check all entries in Table Maintanace Dialog Generator (SE56). Eventhough you stuck with that, then try to assign Ztable name as Function Group (Instead of Function Group which you assigned)
