Unable to add Fields to Smartform

Hi,

I have created a Smartform, and in the Main Window, I right clicked and created a new Text.

Now, my issue here is that I cannot Write any Text or Add any Fields here. Basically, this Text I created is Uneditable I think. I am selecting fields from my Workarea and when I click 'Apply' the fields are not adding to the form. What could be the problem here ?

What kind of "text" node did you add?

• Text element: To enter new text in the PC Editor
• Text module: To include a text module
• Include text: To include an existing SAPscript text

So the answer was 'Text element', this note type should allow text input

Check note provided by sandra.rossi (2784424 - Blank screen when editing text using SAP GUI 760 or higher) Basically either add the old editor to your SAP GUI installation or switch to Word Editor.

Maybe you are using a type of text you cannot update :

May be its a Text Editor problem. Try to change the text editor. What's your SAP Logon version?

There should be no problem. Please provide more details and screenshots so that we understand what is your issue.
