unable to add data when i am adding the field mandt into a custom table

Dear friends plaese help me out.I created a table in which MANDT is one of the fields.When i am trying to add data to the table then i am getting the error message as :System setings do not allow any changes.If i remove MANDT field then i am able to add data to the table.When i created the table yesterday for the first time i am able to add data though MANDT was one of the fields.

Then due to some circumstances i have deleted the data and tabel also.Then again tried create the same .From then onwards i am getting this issue.Please help me out in this regard.

Hi Ram,

In open the table SE11.

Make sure that under Delivery and Maintenance Tab,

Data Browser/Table View Maint. = Display/Maintenance Allowed.

have you regenerated the table maintenance dialog?

check whether the table maintenance is swithced on or not....and then try transacation sm30 to maintain your table i hope that this might be the probale reasons .

Hi Ram Tarak,

Please make sure,

In SE11 you have to make sure that the table has the category "Display/Maintenance allowed".

In SCC4 select the client and change the settings to "Changes w/o automatic recording, no transport is allowed.

This should be OK.

Hi Ram,

Its just database inconsistenct that happened due to your deletion of field tn table.

Utilities ->Database object ->Database utility ->activate and adjust database.
