UAR requests not going to all the Respective Role Owners

Hello All,

My client has initiated UAR.

There are 3 stages of approval as per our workflow design for UAR requests :

Reviewer ( User’s HOD )

Role Owner

Security Team

As per the below screenshot, User 108517 has been assigned MM & HR related roles.

Role owner of MM related roles is 108795 & role owner of HR related roles is 260086.

After the request is being approved at the 1st stage by the Reviewer ( 602026 ) , request should be sent to the respective role owners 108795 & 260086 both , but request has been sent only to 260086 ( role owner of HR roles ) and NOT to  108795 ( role owner of MM roles ).

After getting approved at 2nd stage by 260086 , request went to 3rd stage ( Security Team ).

My issue as explained above is that request is NOT being sent to All the Role Owners at the 2nd stage instead it is being sent to only 1 role owner.

It should ideally go to all the Role owners. and once all the Role Owners approve the request, it should then go to the 3rd stage.

Please refer the below screenshot for the Task settings kept at every stage of UAR path :

Similar issue has been ocuring in off the UAR requests.

Please help me out on this issue.

Regards,

Rahul Muni

Hi Rahul,

you are using your own developed rule. Can you please share the definition of the agent rule? Did you ran a simulation and does it work as expected?

Hi Rahul,

Can you provide more information on how you have set up the role owner agent in the workflow? In case you have used BRFplus rule for the agent, then share relevant information too.

Thanks

Sammukh

Hi Rahul,

Since this is not regular Access Request, I assume you will need to implement a "Loop" in your BRF+ agent application. So that all the line items are traversed for the decision table.

Currently by the look of it, only the first line item is being decided on and thus going to one role owner.

Thanks

Hi Rahul,

Could you let us know, if there is any specific reason why standard(SAP provided) Role Owner Agent cannot be used. Are the Approvers for 'functional area' and 'Role Owner' different. If approvers are same, you can try using the standard agent

if so, decision table is the right approach
