Hello Friends,

Could any one please tell about Transport Req No. why we use it.

And how to create it.How to see all the transport req nmbers in a user.

Transport request are used to transfer the code from one server to other server.

While storing ur program u have to give some development class and in that dialog box u will be haveing an icon "to create the transport" requests.

SE10 is the tcode for transport requests

Hi,

In DEV client we develop the programs and other objects,they ahve to be transported to other systems like Quality and PRODUCTION.

To move them to other boxes like PRD we have to transfer them there using the Transport requests, as it is not possible to debvelop the same code in PRD and QAS.

so we assign a Dev class for the objects when saving and it will create a Transport request.

We can see this in SE09/SE10 tcodes.

Once it is created , have to release it andto transport to other systems to the respective co files and dat fiels, using the help of a Basis person.

Hi,

using the trnasport request, we move the programs/FM/FORMS etc to another server which the basis team will setup the config, normally we move the data from DEV to QUALITY and QUALITY to PROD system. Just normally me move from one system to Another system.

To create the Tansport request, when you create the Program just press the SAVE then automatically it will ask the Development class and the Transport request.

TO see the Transport request for a USer you can use the SE09, SE10 transaction codes

Transport Request Number is to tie up the developmets we do in Developemtn server. it also for transporting the objects to the other clients(susequent ones, such as Quality and Production).

se09 is the T-Code to create transport Request numbers, u can view the TR Number under a perticular user, in the same t-code by entering the specific user name.

Hi,

1. We used it for Transport purpose.

2. When you create new program or modification and save it, it will ask for Transport Request Number. In this step, you can create new one (F8) or used that you had been create before.

3. You can see all Transport Request Number using TCODE: SE10.

hi sathya,

transport request number is the identification of any creation or change that is carried out both in customising or abap program change .system stores all these as a task in this transport request number.

to create ,any creation or changes in development client would generate a request which will carry ur task in it

for example ;in se38 if u r creating a new program ,and if u want save it it in development package ,system would ask for transport number ,either u can use the existing one or create new TP to save .

u can see all transport numbers of X user in se10 or se11.

When you assign your report to Development class other than $TMP system will ask to create transport request no.When you press button create own request it will create new request no.

To transport your program from development server to Testing server or Production server we need to create transport request no.To move to next server you need to release This request.For this press F9 or button " Release directly"

You can use SE10 to see transport request nos.

HI ,

The objects can be transported to the different systems , with the help of Transport Numebrs only .

This are created only for the Development class .

Tcode Se10 is used for its creation and you can check all the avialble requests for a particular user from this Tcode itself .

If u want to move ur development (eg:programs, tables etc) from development server to quality server or production server, u need to create a transport request.

While creating a program say for eg:ztest in se38, it wil ask for package. u have to create a new request.

The request u can release in se09 or , se10.

Basis wil transport this req from dev quality or test server.

In table E070,field AS4USER- give the username, u can view all the transport req from that user.

Table E071 is also to view the transport req
