hi,

The TMS configuration file DOMAIN.CFG is stored in the transport

subdirectory bin. This file contains the transport domain name and

description as well as the transport domain controller’s host name,

instance number, SID, and transport group.

AND ALSO

The transport profile for the transport control program tp is

generated and stored in the transport subdirectory bin under the

nameTP_<DOMAIN>.PFL. The parameters in this profile are

maintained using the STMS transaction

come to suim it is user information system by use, role ,profies, tcodes, authrizationsobjects &also authrizations.

Hi Abdul,

When you configure Transport Domain Controler(TDC) and later when you add aditional systems to TDC , system automatically performs some tasks to prepare for functions of TMS.The configuration data is saved in database and some data is saved in <b>DOMAIN.cfg</b>

The transport profile is a global parameter file for the program tp and is administrated by the SAP System using the Transport Management System (TMS). You can see more details in the following link

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/3d/ad5b9b4ebc11d182bf0000e829fbfe/frameset.htm

User Information System (SUIM) can be used for many things like users having access to particular transaction , change documents of roles, user ... , information abt profile , authorization object etc ...

THanks

Prince Jose

Hello,

These files will generated by the Transport Management System automatically.

Basically it contains the data regarding the systems information, their routes, and control programs like tp ..etc. for particular to that domain.

Sometimes we can regenerate these files also !!

Regarding SUIM,

It is very , very useful, and powerful t-code.

Refer this...

Note: Points always encourage me to reply !!
