Hi,
Are you talking about TASK in workflow. In workflow , we assign some methods to task and some functionality is written within that method.some basically task is used to perform required functionality.Basically whatever methods we assign to task , belongs to some business object.Either standard business object or Z object. So flow is is Business object->Method->task.All these are used to perform the required functionality in workflow.
Thanks

Hi,
SWEL is for event trace. Here you can trace wheather the event has occured or not. you switch on the event trace in swels.
If you r speaking abt task
Task
Task is used to define an activity that can be executed within a workflow definition or independently (as a single step).
Single Step Task
A single-step task is for use in workflow definitions. A task can be part of a workflow definition as a step of the type activity. In the workflow definition, additional information can also be specified regarding responsibilities and deadlines.
Single Step Task is of 2 types
Standard Task
It is client specific with validity period and object type is u2018Tu2019 in organizational management.
Customer Task
It is cross client with unrestricted validity period and object type as u2018TSu2019 in organizational management.
Multistep Task
A multistep task is a formal framework for a workflow definition. When you create a workflow directly in the Workflow Builder, the multistep task is created by the system. Multistep tasks can be divided into workflow template and workflow tasks.
