1). Goto se03

2). Select the option Include Objects in a request

3). Select the radio button Selected objects

4). Enter R3TR TABU <Table Name>

5). Specify the key fields

Hope this helps

Hi

If you need to transport all data, see here:

If you need to transport only some records, you should create a table maintenance program (for trx SM30) with the flag for the transport.

i just need to transport a single table entry not all the tables and when i am going into the table view transport its not active and i couldnt add it to the trans request

Hi Kiran,

if u want to add only one record then you need to specifiy the complete key.

The table needs to be active as the transport will do a check internally on the table so if its not active it will throw an error.

Go to SE10.

Click on the 'Create' icon.

Select 'Workbench Request'(assuming your table is not customizing table).

Enter description and click 'Save'.

Put cursor on the task (lower number of the two) and in menu, 'Request/task>Change Type>Development/correction'.

With cursor on the task(lower number), click 'Object List' icon on the toolbar.

Once in, you need to toggle to 'Change' mode using the pencil icon.

Then click on 'New Entries'. Now add the R3TR, TABU, <ZTAB> in the first row.

Again in the menu, select 'Extras>Change object function>Key according to key list'.

Now go to the menu, 'Goto-->Key list'. In the subsequent screen, click on 'Insert line' icon(with a + sign).

Click on 'Key fields' button and it will now allow you to enter the values for each key field.

Hope this is clear.

ITS not allowing me to enter the values. it says we can only enter just numeric values. dont know wat to do.

Do you know what values you can enter for the key fields? If you know which record you want to transport(you can find the key values from SE16), then just enter them here. If it is giving an error like that, it must be that you are entering character values in numeric key fields.

Check the last action that I mentioned in my previous post.
