I am using this FM to copy one user to another however I can not find the created users not in SU01 , not in usr02 even though the FM executes correctly.

has anyone used this before? Where are the newly created users?

Please let me know how this FM works

If anyone has an alternative to this FM is welcome.

I don't have any experience - but maybe Rich's BAPI suggestions may work better for you? https://answers.sap.com/questions/4011645/challenge-of-the-day-lsmw-for-su01.html

Hello Jonathan Blavatsky ,

This FM is not released hence not recommended.

Why don't you test this FM in SE37 first before getting onto programming?
