Hi Experts

currently we are facing issue in standard table , during insert record in table it is allowing duplicate entires in quality system where as in development system it is not happening?

What could be the problem?

even we have check in ST05 as well

it is showing sy-subrc value as 0.

Thanks in advance

Raise OSS Notes to SAP. Inform the Problem, will be solved by SAP

Which standard table? What is updating it? SAP program or yours?

Thank you, Short Dump.

Several other questions spring to mind: what was the result of that ST05? And what has it been set up to find in the first place? Duplicate entries with duplicate keys? That should at least give us a Short Dump ... (the ST22-kind).

Have you tried to analyse the problem? If so, should you not be able to phrase it - in your mind and expressis verbis? Wouldn't that in consequence enable you to do a bit of R&D?

Hi the standard table name is /sapsll/pntbp

and this table while we are updating through insert query it should fail because of duplicate entries

but it is proceeding forward instead of failing,

we are having a transaction called BUP1 , where we will be creating business partner and from here we are getting the values and in BADI we are calling RFC that will update the values in /SAPSLL/ADRCON value ,/SAPSLL/PNTBP table.

The thing is this badi is called for both BUP1 and BUP2

so each and every time we execute it creates a new record in /SAPSLL/PNTBP table in another system.

and we have debugged the RFC of another system in development and quality environment , in quality the insert query is not failing and in development it is failing due to duplicate entries

Thanks and Regards
