Can an Infoset created in the Standard area be converted to a Global Area infoset without having to redo everything?

Hi Ed,

The short answer is yes. Take a look at the online help for SAP Query in the branch for Administration -> Query Areas. You should see a sub-section with the title "Copying Query Objects between Different Query Areas." The information you are looking for should be there.

You can also search SDN for the term "Copying Query Objects between Different Query Areas" to get several additional links. The one you are probably going to be most interested in is the link that talks about transporting objects between query areas.

Regards,

Jamie
