Spell checker class CL_SOTR_SPELLCHECKER

Hi,

I tried using spellchecker class in the report but i am getting short dump . Has anyone tried using this class.

if so, whats the procedure to get it working ?

Looks like you need have a SPELL control in your registry.

Hi ,

I tried this approach suggested by raja but it not working. we have 640 SP16 running on a system but we connect to it remotely from another system using SAP GUI.

The procedure i followed is - I registered Testspellchk.ocx file in my system where SAP GUI is installed but it dint work.

So in which system should i register this Testspellchk.ocx file. As i know the call to the SPELL checker functionality would be executed in the 640 sp16 and send to the presentation server.

Should i register Testspellchk.ocx in 640 SP16 system ?

I think the OCX should be registered on your desktop.

yes i have registered OCX on my desktop but it is not working.

If i input a word it gives me the same word. For ex, if i input word as "welcme" it gives me back the same word "welcme" instead of other options like "WELCOME" and others.
