SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1

Hi,

I use the above function module to send email out and it works fine.

However, if I put in an invalid email address, I do not get a "undeliverable" email. Anyone knows why?

Hi Sie,

I think the email geeting delivered or not delievered depends on the exchange server and not based on the FM.

did you check the status of the email in SOST?

in this code....

Internal table IF RECLIST-RETRN_CODE is not 0,then the mail is not send to the recipient, so if you want the undeliverable mail for a perticular recipient then call the same function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 with undeliverd message to whom want to receive the undeliverd message.

Hi,

Check the Transaction <b>SOST</b> after running your Program.

find the status of mail.

are you checking the sy-subrc after the FM call.

if not check it.and try to catch the exceptions.
