Hi,

Please set the following at general settings of Smartform:

Step1 :

T/Code > Smartform>Global Settings -->genreal attributes Tab > Set flag (Radio Button)transaltionTo all languages/ Restricted languages

Please set this flag.

STEP2:

Translation:

Use T/code SE63>Translation(Menubar)>R3 enterprise> Other Long Texts>select " SSF"-->Enter Smartform name and from language and destination language.

STEP3:

Transporting translations :

Please execute the following program for transporting translations : <b>RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER</b>

Target language = * or Target transalation lang.

Object type = SSF

Then Press Create Transport Request button. Create Request.

Then include all your translations to that request.

Lanka

Hi,

Translation:

Use T/code SE63>Translation(Menubar)>R3 enterprise> Other Long Texts>select " SSF"-->Enter Smartform name and from language and destination language.

Transport :

You have to run a SAP standard program . I will provide you in a moment.

Hi,

I don't know why transport is not possible from Se63. But, I go in SMARTFORMS, I modify a dummy thing, that create a request order. And after I modify the smartforms in SE63.

Hi,

why do you need to translate explicitly...

in the <b>genreal attributes Tab</b> of <b>Global Settings</b> you can set using radio button for transaltion.

you can find them under <b>Language Attributes->Translate Subscreen.</b>

To all languages
To selected Language
Do not translate

there is no need of explicit translation in case of smart forms.

Hi,

The program RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER has been changed to RS_LXE_LOG_EXPORT.
T-code SLXT.

hi,

After doing the translations, execute the program RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER with target language and object type. This will create a request and then you can attach your translations to this request.
