Hi

There is a way to download smartform in PDF format.

Please do the following:

1. Print the smartform to the spool.

2. Note the spool number.

3. Download a PDF file (Acrobat Reader) version of the spool by running Program RSTXPDFT4 and entering the

noted spool number.

but for editing the pdf file you need a separate PDF software.

Yes. In SAP latest ADoBe server you can do that. There is good Media Web log in SDN. Please go through that.

with SAP NetWeaver '04, SAP shipped a solution called Interactive Forms for the first time, which is based on Adobe technology and allows you to create PDF forms with editable fields. There is lots of information available on it here in SDN at http://sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/adobeforms or in the SAP Service Marketplace at http://service.sap.com/adobe.
