Hi,

I have added a new transaction to a single role then will it be reflected in all the roles derived from that single role with authorization data also?

Basically, yes. If the new transaction brings along a new organizational field that may have to be maintained in the derived roles as well.

In addition, this is true within one system and client. If you want these changes to reflect in other systems in the landscape, you will have to transport the changes made to the target system.

If this single role is parent role then when you add the t-code to it, all the derived roles will get this t-code and the authorization object associated with this t-code.

Normally in the parent role we do not maintain Org values, and it is possible that the t-code that you add has fields which corresponds to Org levels. For example Plants, Company codes etc. So you may have to maintain them in derived role.

Well for the derived role to be impacted, i think you should generate its authorisation menu.

Hello,

Yes, If a transaction is added to a master role and once you have generated the derived roles. the transaction newly added goes to the derived roles.

Hope this answers your question..
