SHDB recording

Hi All,

I have done one recording through SHDB. I dont have the authority to generate the pgm in this client.I have exported it to flat file. Now how can i import and generate the pgm for the same recording in a different server.

Plz help me with this. Any knd of help would be appreciated and rewarded.

Hi bhanu,

if i have understood u correctly..u have done recording in one client..and

exported the source code to some flat file since u have no access for this client..

login into the other client where u have access and create an executable program..open the program...utilitiesmore utilitiesupload--upload the flat file source code..

Hi,

It can't generate a program in other client, if you transfer this recording.

Do the recording again in the other client(since you have already done in other client, it will be easier to do again) and generate the program, in which you have authorization.

In SHDB only export facility is there .There is no IMPORT facility is .

Hi,

the easiest method is download the recordingto a notepad, then Copy and paste it in the SE38 editor.

Hi Bhanu ..

After downloading the file into the notepad .

Just follow the steps accordingly ..

1.Go to the server u need to copy that program use SHDB .

2.Create a new recording give any valid t-code and the prgram name.

3.Click start recording.

4.The t-code which u have give will fire ..

5.No need to do anything just click the BACK button which is avaliable in the

toolbar

6.u will get the prgram in the table control.

Now go to the Menu Recording->import which is avalible in top.

now locate the file which u have already downloaded from other server ..

that porgram will be imported in the new sever ..

Hi

It can't generate a program in other client, if you transfer this recording.

Do the recording again in the other client where ever you have authorizations to create the program and generate the program.

Put the previous recording data in the file and compare that data now with current program's recording.
