Hi Gurus ,

We have project requirement for sending the interactive ALV output as a SAP attachment in external mail .

Can we have this functionality within SAP via FM , Wokflow , classes so that we can achieve this requirement.

Requirement :

We need to send the set of deliveries in the interactive ALV to the external email .

User receives the ALV as a SAP attachment and selects the deliveries and do the PGI or billing based on his selection.

for those selected deliveries we need to do the PGI or billing within SAP..

Need help on this requirement .

thanks in advance for quick response.

Regards,

Saurabh Goel

Dear Saurabh,

OPTION1 :

Please refer to Link below where you can send the attachment to the user in Email:

This Attachment will be like a SAP GUI shortcut and user will see this in mail and on CLICKING will directly take inside the transaction where user can take action.T L D

Creating a SAP shortcut for any transaction and sending it by mail - Code Gallery - SCN Wiki

OPTION 2:

As sandra suggested use ADOBE FORMS in your case and work from there.

But there would be a setup required to use ADOBE FORMS and may take lot of while to get this implemented. 1 2 6 0

I would suggest go for OPTION 1 above and send GUI shortcut in email.

Cheers

So you mean these people won't access the SAP system and they nee to enter data in something like an Excel sheet?

It looks like an interactive form (simple PDF file with the interactive function to enter data; data being saved inside the PDF itself). You need a license for generating the Adobe interactive forms.

How will they enter the PDF back into the SAP system? It's possible to send a mail from the PDF to SAP, or someone may manually load the PDF.

Embedding all this in a workflow, and loading the data into the SAP database (BAPI) should be possible without problem.

Could you elaborate more about what are the restrictions?

Hi,

this may be exactly what you need: Send, Receive, and Process Interactive Forms via Email in AS ABAP

Thank you Jeff Gebo for this nice blog!

Thanks to google I found it on SCN - time for SCN to integrate google search which is so much better than scn search.

Best regards

Clemens
