Seeburger BIS integration into ECC 6.0

We are installing Seeburger BIS. We would like to skip the PI step. All the conversions are done in Seeburger, it doesn't make a lot of sense to send the file to PI for 1 to 1 mapping.

So does anyone know of a way to move data from Seeburger to SAP via a proxy or RFC - or another method?

Thank you!

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

within BIS you have a SAP-Connector that sends/receives Idocs via RFC to SAP.

It depends on the BIS version, but normally you would have to:

-Create RFC Destination in Sap (sm59) and create a programID which BIS can use to register

-Create Port in we21

-Maintain your Partner in we20

-Use the programID created in sm59 within BIS to connect to your SAP system

regards,

Daniel
