SE63: Translating messages

Hi.

I searched here and in the Help portal but could find a straight forward answer to my problem.

I need to translate a message I created in my own Y message-class.

I went to SE63, choose "Translation->ABAP Objects->Short Text".

The problem is that no matter which "Object Type" I choose at the next popup, I always get 1 field, and I don't know how to access my message.

I tried to use all combination of Message-class & Message-id, but I get an error message that there is no such object.

The Message is active.

Any help will be appreciated.

You are absolutely right.

I'm only 1.5month old in ECC6.00 (from 4.6c), and SE63 was so intuitive there that I never used translation in SE91.

Thanks a lot.

Yes,

is better to use se91.

We have to select the lines and than goto-->translation, put your traduction and than press standard button.

If your text become green, the translation is done.

Regards,

Roberto.
