SE54 create view cluster "No log data exists"

Hi all,

In SE54, creating a view cluster, I have followed all steps to create a viewcluster. It worked for two transactions, but now with a third I get the errormessage "No log data exists" when I do the step "Generate Field dependence".

I have

- created two views, including generating their maintenance view

- created the viewcluster.

- added the two views

- generated the "field dependence" for the first object

- tried to generate this for the sec ond and then get the error message.

Anybody have the solution?

Best regards,

Tim van Steenbergen

Hi,

One question have u define field dependencies for both tables?

If so.

Then u have to define only  the relationship from the 2nd to 1st table only.

Double click on field dependencies & check.no need to generate twice.

Thanks

Gourav.

Thanks,

Indeed I had the foreign key pointing to another table, with an almost similar name.

You have to define field dependencies for both tables before try generating the view cluster.
