Hi All,
This is regarding the client open activity done in the PRD system(prd client).
We do have the option of the logging the changes done when the client is open by selecting the option "automatic recordinf og changes". We do get the pop windows to create the transport.
But for the option "no automatic recording of changes" , we do not get the pop up window.I would like to know with this option, are the changes logged into any virtual transports or all the objects have to be manually included in se01 request?
Thanks,
Prasanna

Hello Prasanna,
Regarding Changes without automatic recording : When setting this option the client can be customized, although the system will not automatically generate change requests. If users later wish to transport customizations performed on this client, the transport requests must be manually created. This flag is not usually set except for test or demo clients and is not suitable for development and customization.
Logically the objects you change with these settings are not recorded.only saved.
I hope this information helps.
Best Regards
Niraj

Hello Prasanna,
whenever you make a change and u dont want the recording pop-up to come, u can use "no automatic recording of changes".. In this case, if u want to transport the objects to which u made the change, u have to manually include it in the request via SE01.
Regards,
Chaitanya.
