Runtime Error ( ABAP Dump ) -  Exception condition "OLE_OBJECT_METHOD_ERROR" raised.

We have following configuration

1. Windows 7 with Patch 1
2. MS Office 2003 with Patch 3
3. SAP ECC 6.0 With Path Level 4

We have developed a report which is using function module ‘ MS_EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT'.

When we execute the report it is giving ABAP Dump - Exception condition "OLE_OBJECT_METHOD_ERROR" raised.

This is now resolved by using function module - XXL_SIMPLE_API.
