running same SQVI query with different results

I created a SQVI query joining tables MARA and marc.

I made a selection screen variant: I run the query several times, with the same variant and every time i execute (a few seconds from each other, not days) i get different results each time.

does anyone have an idea?

do you have any restriction for number of entries? result differs based on that as well..

restrictions where?

and if so, the number should be the same....if I run a query on a join between MARC and MARA and MAKT i request all materials, filtering according to:

1) material type

2) material group

3) plants

4)exclude flagged for deletion

5) 1 language

and my output is:

1) material type

2) material group

3) plants

4) material number

5) description

I run the same query 5 times in 2 minutes and every time with the same variant and i get different results every time....

hello alisa,

Your ALV report probably has a default filtering or sorting options. These optiıons are applying for particular fields. If you didn't select to include that particular fields, you can't see that options on these fields. I suggest you to check layout options/sorting & filtering in that ALV report.
