Role maintenance PFCG

Hi,

Iam quite novice to autho and role maintenance(PFCG), kindly suggest me on this....

I have a requirement as to automate/mass Role maintenance. Currently, this is done manually.

-Is there any Function Module / BAPI for this purpose?

-Is it possible to create a BDC on this Easy-Go tcode. (am facing problem with folders in the menu tab.)

-Is there any other similar transaction..

Any suggestions are appreciated..

Hello Sumanth,

have you checked the function group PRGN.

It contains some usefull FM for this case.

Hi Sumarth,

I've tried to made a BDC for this transaction once and I cannot advice it to you. This is one of the ENJOY transactions which is (allmost) impossible to put in a BDC.

I solved my problem by analysing the sourcecode of the transaction and used parts of this code to create my own program.

Thanks a lot for your response, I tried to analyze the source code (SAPLPRGN_TREE), but not very getting ahead on this. Could you kindly let me know whatz the best way to understand or where can i find docus/code, or any other information on this.
