Hi,

I am creating a RFC, and within the RFC function module i need to make select statement of minimum 50 tables, so i am planning to give a message to user that "please wait.." using fm sapgup_progress_indicator.

this RFC called only from legacy for realtime updations.is this a right way to give progress indicator in RFC?

Thanks

Hello,

I would put the message before calling the RFC from the external system, and change the message after the RFC is Called.

I think is easyer....dont you think??

Hello,

Sorry I dont know....but I think you dont need to use it, because the message will on front server(web, standalone, etc)....not in SAP, this message is usually used when working on the R3 directly.

Hope this helps!!

regards,

Gabriel
