hi ,
Follow the instructions :
1 Go to transaction SE09 You will be able to see your TR here.
2 Now expand this TR, as the TR also contains task.
3 Now select the task and click on the 'truck' button on toolbar (which is relase button)
4 After releasing the task you need to release the TR in the same way.
5 Now give this TR no. to your basis person and he will take care of rest.

Hi,
Goto Se09 and give your user name and press enter then the list of Request will be displayed, then Place the cursor on a reuest which you want to transport then press the Transport button(Truck Icon), then it will be transported to the target system, from there the BASIS people will import the request to that target server

Hi Venkat,
Usually developer release the tasks and corresponding request number in SE09 or SE10.
It is a best practice to do the consistency check before releasing the transport.
Later on, basis team would import these requests to subsequent systems like QA and then to PROD.

Welcome To SDN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Goto SE10 there you can see your request number. Expand your request tree first. Then Release your task first then release your request. Then if you want to transport the request goto STMS there you can do transporting.. But ususlly thi is doing by your basis persons.

Hi
In Trxn <b>SE09</b>, Click on the <b>Task</b> under the Request, and <b>click Release</b> (Truck icon'), once done for all the Tasks, you can do the same for the Transport Request.

double clik on ur req ...
clik on transport button.
Reqst is relaesed!!!!!!!

Hi
You can use any of this.. Both Are doing the same thing.More detail if you are checking the program of both transactions you can see both are same.. Also you can use SE01...Its your wish.........
