remove tcodes from some user ids roles

Hello Experts,

Can you tell me the simple process to remove these tcodes from Certain user ids.

Please remove the authorization of

FB08 , F-02 and FBRA From all *** users id .

But these tcodes authorization is also having to another users.

Hi Hemanth,

you can follow below method to suffice your requirement

- create a new role by copying existing role and remove Tcodes FB08 , F-02 and FBRA .

- Assign this new role to *** users list

This way existing users holding current role won't get affected.

In the above process you have to perform other step

- Delete the user assignments from current role (You have to delete the old role from all *** User IDs).

First - Check whether all the *** Users have any common role (If it has the above tcodes in it, then it would be very easier).

Remove tcode from the common role and transport it to your production.

Hi, you can't delete tcodes from surtain users, you can only create new role and reassign users to it

Hi Hemant,

As everyone rightly said you will have to create a new role for the same.

But the approach can be different, I think my appraoch would have been to create a new Role with only the tracsactions FB08 , F-02 and FBRA and Remove these from the original Role. Then assign this additional role to all the users who need these T-codes.

It is lengthy process but it is a security part as well.

So removed this tcodes successfully by assinging new roles to them.
