Hi All,

During Uploading Excise Mater Data through LSMW after specifying the file and when i try to save the object it gives a error message stating that

"File Name 'Converted Data': Max. 45 Characters. Remaining data saved.

Message no. /SAPDMC/LSMW_OBJ_060028".

I tried the error msg in Sap help also but no relevant document can be found.

Help and Suggestions will be much appricieated.

Hi Ramesh,

Make the manual changes in the 'Data Converted' entry. You have the following two options in this case:

Manually edit the name (as described in the error message) for the file containing the converted data (conv'-file) and reduce it so that it does not exceed the allowed length of 45 characters (including the path). You can choose any name you like in this case.

Work from the SAP home directory and delete the additional path specification (the LSMW also takes note of this setting for the corresponding user).
